Age 69, of Nehawka, NE. Survived by wife, Nancy of Nehawka; daughters, Jean Bashus and her husband Tim of Pacific Junction, IA, Karen Hoback and her husband Roger of Nebraska City; son, Michael Jones and his wife Kari of Fond du Lac, WI; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Palmer of Avoca and Janette Monroe and her husband Gene of Nehawka; sisters in law and brothers in law, Janice and Howard Gansemer of Nehawka; Phyllis and Dugan Gregg of Nehawka, other relatives and friends. Worked at Western Electric and Avaya in Omaha several years. He served in the U.S. Army.

Memorial services, 11am Friday, July 2, 2010 at Nehawka United Methodist Church. Burial Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka, NE. VIisitation 1-9pm Thursday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends 6-8pm. No Viewing. Messages of condolence may be emailed to marshallfuneral@windstream.net

Gary worked in the cable plant and retired from Avaya in 2003 after 44 years of service.
